Do you all honestly think Adventure Quest 3D has a future? After seeing the general player base drastically decline through the last few months, I can honestly say, yes. I'm not hating on this game at all, but. Ashfall has been delayed one to many times. Which has had a lot of people very salty about.I have been here since the tech demo.
Back then, the game was doing quite well, especially leading into the Alpha Stages of Adventure Quest 3D. As soon as pre-beta hit, this game was rising in popularity! Thriving with players, checking out the brand new game which Artix Entertainment painfully developed after years on development. This game was at it's peak early into open-beta, which in all honesty was the games absolute height.
Then all of sudden in the wind of the Adventure Quest 3D website we hear rumours of a comepletely new content patch was in the works! After patch notes upon patch notes, Cysero revealed to us all a video on the new patch, with glimpse of a new area packed full of mobs and interesting scenery. But after 5 months of Artix releasing patch notes of the Ashfall's pushbacks and delays, the community gave up hope. Many leaving, barely staying. A handful of the dedicted fans remained.Let's all hope for the best. For all my criticism I really don't want this game to die out.
In fact it's my love of the game that makes me highlight all its flaws and stomp out fanboyism, lest it affect the game negatively. But is it dying?
It's hard to say. The lack of players that can be in a zone at one time (or so it appears there's a limit) doesn't help, and being cross platform I feel is more dividing than encouraging people to play. On Steam there's not many people and for an IP of this size I'd expect a lot more active players.I feel the game is too ambitious, and released too early. You only get one first impression, no matter how many phases on testing you have, and most people have had theirs and agreed they'll come back in the future, if at all.
I can't blame them. I can't imagine how good this game was in Alpha when before Halloween it was hardly a pitch, much less a playable proof of concept.I really hope the delays to Ashfall, however good it may end up being, aren't going to represent the future development process.
I made this mistake with Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade, and that's a brand I love and trust a lot more than this one. Still, I remain hopeful. I surely hope more resources are put into it, fan interest is thrust up AE's backside and the game offers content that has meaningful staying power rather than 'well all this stuff I'm grinding for might be useful in the future'.The deathknell hasn't been signalled for AQ3D, but I wouldn't be surprised if it collapsed.
I hope that day never comes. This is funny. People are screaming doom and despair before the game is even done. Come back in a year when it should be dead, and they have added things like PvP, Guilds, more and better classes and more areas. There's no deadline that they need to keep to, the game is moving, and people will come when it has content. I haven't played in a couple weeks, but I will return whenever it's updated. There are tons of people who are the same, just waiting for content and will always return as it's added.
You are speaking of death when the game isn't even genuinely born yet. You really shouldn't mind much all those comments from impatient or salty detractors who lost their temper. Yeah the game may lack that massive community fitting mmo standards plus large amount of content, but at the end of the day, those two points altogether aren't necessarily absolute criterias judging a 'good' or 'no good' mmorpg. Also, right next to the infamous 'ready o'clock' reminder there's this other thing: the game is in freaking open beta, so realistically some players should rather be expecting a few issues, delays and such given the current stage. Then believe as the game will progress, the AE team behind aq3d should naturally step up likewise. Originally posted by:You are speaking of death when the game isn't even genuinely born yet.

Artix Entertainment has never done a mmorpg in 3d, their best success was AQW a flash game, they dont have what it takes to cater to a 3d mmorpg community and AQ3D has shown that with players losing interest before the game has even released.Ill point you to ARK and H1z1 KOTK and RUST which all are in.early access.
and still manage to pull thousands of people. Originally posted by:You are speaking of death when the game isn't even genuinely born yet. and still manage to pull thousands of people.I meant a few game flaws or bugs like the good old combat bug for example. I see your point Boy but then again if you compare aq3d in-depth development level to those other games you mentionned. Plz give aq3d a break lol. So you believe AE should stick to 2D games and stop considering their first ever 3D expansion project.

Well, what can I say beside the fact that Artix is one ambitious man. He took up the challenge knowing there would be hardships, and you know, giving up in the face of adversity isn't written in his code of paladin. As silly or deep as it may sound, the spirit of Battle On dwells within him. I think the reason the Game is Dying isnt because of the 'declining playerbase', i personally love Adventure quest, But.there's not much help on the bug fourms, and there's a bug going around which make's it to where people cannot get into the game what so ever on PC,i'm currently experiancing this bug, i'd love to go and play it more, maybe even donate, but.it's hard to donate for a game you cannot play.Either way around man, adventure quest is an old but good series. And here's to hoping it's ressurected like a phoenix. I feel like imo that people left because there was less stuff to do, after awhile your stuck in a area grinding so you can do 1 quest and do the grind over again to get to the next etc. There IS alot of gold but theres no point in it.
Its just a boring grind with only 4 classes and 2 are locked behind money walls (guardian and alpha pirate) theres no trading, auction house, actual skill tree, actual combat, etc etc (from when i played the last time, which was around the end of the halloween event), new content getting delayed ALOT. (ready o clock my ♥♥♥♥) which makes it not really different from its more popular brother AQW other then the fact what you wear/equip matters. So why would i play this over AQW other then the fact that this game is 3D? AQW atlease offers new stuff to do every week and has more goals to work for, ALOT of classes, alot of quests to do, an entire finshed storyline, little bit of strats for kill high hp bosses (blinky), HELL its even got pvp ffsThis is my general opinion, dont attack me for this. I still love artix, i even bought guardian for this game, and i sitll dont regret it. I still come back to aqw from time to time (8 year old account) i was even a member in AQW and im still dragon guardian in DF.
I love these guys and still do, its just that i cant enjoy this game anymore. I don't see that the hate is really needed.
Where was the Hate for Blizzard when they first released WoW? That was their first MMORPG and it was a raving success, lets look at Everquest, that was their first MMORPG also.I think JFK put it best when he said 'We do these things not because they are easy, but because they are HARD!' If Artix only keeps to 2d Flash games, they will eventually die out as they have no innovation.
Making anything in 3d is harder than 2d.Also this is an Ambitious project, making sure the game is compatible for PC, Mac, Phones and Tablets, A LOT of people I know and speak too have always told me 'It is impossible to make things for the PC, XBone, PS4, and Mobile. But lets look at what Artix has done with AQ3D, PC, Mac and Mobile. Quite an Accomplishment. So I can fully and 100% understand that content WILL take awhile and may be pushed back if they realize what they Made won't work on Phones and Tablets.
I come and go from this game, as I do many online games. It's not because of a Lack of Content, or Content gets pushed back, its because I get bored them after awhile. And some games I just won't ever return to.cough.WoW.cough. and thats because of their own decisions and toxic communities. As for AQ3D almost everyone I ran into are friendly and helpful, quite refreshing. Almost reminds me of Marvel Hereos, the community there when I was playing, again haven't played in a few months because I just got bored but will be returning to that in a few days, they were friendly and helpful. I asked a very noob question in Marvel Heroes, and instead of getting Flamed or Trolled, they answered my question and helped me out with my builds and gear and gave suggestions to help improve my game. So, just because they have to delay content, here is another Quote 'Rome wasn't built in a day' and neither should a 3d MMO and new Content. If the delay helps to ensure a quality release, then delay it.
I would rather have a finished product than a product that will always crash and create a very negative gameplay experience. There's not much I can say here, but it's mostly because Trademere put what I was going to say in a much better way than I could have.Personally, I don't have any problems with the delay. If I'm really looking forward to something, I don't mind if they have to delay content to ensure that everything mostly works the first time around. I played the original Adventure Quests so when I saw this I was excited, that quickly turned to boredom when I was spending a lot of time just killing mobs over and over to complete quests that gave very little reward, I was also annoyed that not only did you have to get materials to craft gear but you also had to pay for them 'WHAT THE?' You get the materials and craft them but you still have to buy them and the stats on the item did very little to change combat, it was always 1v1 or you either run or die, and forget fighting anything 2 lvls above you, the combat was also slow throw in some lag and combat really sucks and you end up dieing a lot. Dont think I will be playing this game as I just find it to grindy and boring.
I really enjoyed this game. I recently purchased it to bring along on a family vacation.
I ended up teaching my 2 nephews, wife, and sister-in-law how to play it. It's a short game, but can be very challenging depending on the order of the map tiles and where the castles are placed. It did take a little while to get used to all the rules as the game is pretty complex with everything you have to do on a move, but it wasn't above the head of a few that would shy away from games like this.Pros:- Many ways to win- Never the same game twice- Alternate play rules- Great single-player or multi-player game- There is a QR code on the instructions linking to a video explaining how to play the game- Small box for everythingCons:- Sometimes games can be too short- Rules can be a bit foggy in. I’d definitely heard of the Monster Hunter series prior to playing this game, but it never really piqued my interest. A buddy of mine put this one on my radar, and the only reason I was initially interested was because they used Aloy (Horizon Zero Dawn) as a marketing tool, and I’m a big fan of that game and character. Once I started playing the game, Aloy was the furthest thing from my mind as this was one of the best games I’ve ever played. Sure, you’re made to feel like you’re a badass hunter that can take ANY monster down.
However, as you progress further in the game, and the monsters get tougher and tougher, you’ll start asking yourself: “Wait a second; who’s hunting whom?” During my two and a half month long playthrough, here are the 8 things that jumped out at me.1 Time As of writing this. This comes with a book that is really a box, that can be decorated and left at the bedside. Everyday, you put the contents of one of the packets in the box, and your child awakes to a magical project to craft. All the main supplies are provided, but a few others might also be needed- for instance, we needed a bead of hot glue and some paint for the wand project.I would be careful buying this as a gift for others who might have an objection to magic or 'lying' to their kids. You can TELL the kids where the projects come from. Older kids who like magic might just like to get the whole set together, so I don't think this box depends on someone sneaking in to put new contents in nightly. This little kit involves play spells galore, but they are all.
The war in Solace has ended and its leaders are forging a fragile alliance and partnership, starting with a quest to the mysterious Uncharted Lands. Stella Glass’ healer parents are a part of the mission and will set off on the Iron Glory airship, bound for unknown danger and peril.which is why Stella stows away on the airship, determined to keep her parents safe. Once on board, Stella discovers another stowaway, an unusual boy named Cyrus with even more unusual abilities and secrets. And soon Stella and Cyrus realize that someone aboard is set on making the mission fail and keep everyone far away from the Uncharted Lands. The adventure and wild discoveries Stella has always wanted turn out to be more than she could have ever imagined!Jaleigh Johnson’s middle-grade World of Solace series is simply superb! Each book in the series- The Mark of the Dragonfly, The Secrets of. I got this for my son who really wanted to buy a WiiU just for this game, alone, but already owned a Nintendo 3DS.
He was so excited to see that they offered this game for the 3DS that it has been all he has talked about for a month, now! I usually wait for a birthday or a celebration for him to buy a new toy or game, but he was so excited that I was overtaken by it and couldn't resist.
That being said, I was on-guard for this act of spoiling to get me back, and feared the game would not live up to his high expectations. I was wrong and this game is super cute, very fun, challenging enough for me to enjoy and I would highly recommend it to anyone to buy it - for any occasion. Don't wait to buy it for. Came in good condition, although the day one DLC that came with it was not worth it, the stats on the weapons are worthless by the time you recruit the characters to use them. However, Dragon Quest Heroes is easily one of my favorite Dynasty Warrior styled games, with satisfying combat, flashy moves, and characters that all feel unique and fill a different role (aside from the player characters and Terry, who are more or less clones) like a proper RPG. However, the English voices fall flat, making me switch to Japanese voices, despite usually never doing this, and since enemies die in mass, grinding for materials and experience isn't that difficult, however the game does suffer from some repetition.
Also, don't worry about knowing nothing about the series, the game takes place in it's own universe, with the characters crossing over into it, kinda like the final fantasy dissidia.
